If this is to be believed then the 30 available with the sponsors (last time I looked) looks very big for the 3 races to be won!

Racing Post – 2009-11-16SOLWHIT’s next race is likely to be the Fighting Fifth Hurdle after trainer Charles Byrnes revealed on Monday that he is "very tempted" by the £1m bonus put up by WBX.com for any horse that wins the Newcastle feature, the William Hill Christmas Hurdle at Kempton and the Smurfit Kappa Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham in March, writes Dave Keena.
Solwhit was reported in good shape on Monday following his win at Punchestown on Sunday inthe Dobbins & Madigans Hurdle, when he had Champion Hurdle favourite Hurricane Fly back in third.
Byrnes said: "He didn’t have much of a race and Davy [Russell] never had to give him a smack of the whip. He only raced for a furlong he has come out of the race very well.
"There is a £1m bonus up for grabs if he won at Newcastle, Kempton at Christmas and the Champion Hurdle. That is very tempting and I’d say the Newcastle race looks likely at the minute.
"If he won at Newcastle on November 28, he’ll then head to Kempton at Christmas and if he didn’t, he’ll go to Leopardstown at Christmas time."

Just been writing another post about this. Unfortunately for them Binocular goes the same route so one of them will end up sidestepping Ascot is my bet.
Binocular will be a different proposition this year wait and see. He’ll be the right age now for these type of challenges
While it won’t be an easy race as such I doubt if Solwhit will get him off the bridle round a track like Newcastle. They really would be better staying at home
November 18, 2009 at 19:27 #259340Fist, Binocular will need to worry about getting
Solwhit
off the bridle – even moreso if the ground is on the soft side.
November 18, 2009 at 19:34 #259344solwhit’s in a different league to binocular, and he’s clearly in fine fettle at the minute. i hope they make binocular favourite.

Binocular can reap his rewards on these easy flat tracks for as long as he likes, unfortunately his time will come to get his clampons out and heave himself up the "Hill"! As for Solwhit on good ground around Cheltenham! Outpaced! simple as that!
November 19, 2009 at 15:00 #259450Going current good to soft, good in places at Newcastle.
Does anyone know when I can find out when the next blog is going up? I dont know if he will keep posting on http://www.wbxtriplecrown.com now that Punjabi isnt running.
November 19, 2009 at 22:10 #259527How ground dependent is Solwhit though? Did he miss cheltenham last time beacuse of likely going or reason given by trainer about "not great timing" or whatever…
No idea myself
November 19, 2009 at 22:41 #259539Charles Byrnes quote after the Red Mills at Gowran last season:
"That was a great performance it was probably my own fault that he got beaten in Thurles the last day he was only back from Cheltenham 4 days in hindsight we probably shouldn’t have run him. As regards plans for him everything will be geared towards next year and tip away for the rest of this year and take on the big boys next season."
Conections must simply have thought it was a year too early for the horse last year. Maybe they might have underestimated him after Ninetieth Minute beat him at Thurles. Even if he wasn’t right that day it didn’t turn out to be the worst form in hindsight.
November 20, 2009 at 11:03 #259585I think Binocular might be too good for him but whoever wins (should they both run their races) will be a short favourite for the Champion Hurdle.
November 21, 2009 at 12:16 #259757On the face of it Solwhit looks like he might be a horse that prefers further but my word he showed some turn of pace last time out! Very debatable if he could reproduce that in a larger field and up the Cheltenham hill but he certainly adds some spice to an already exciting race…
November 22, 2009 at 13:24 #259984I think he is better over 2 1/2m than 2 which means that he should be fine in the Champion.
Id be worried about taking on Binocular at Newcastle on Satuday and possibly Kempton but come Cheltenham he could be a big threat to all.
