    FIELD OF GOLD 9/2

Don’t have the group form as others here but I think he a high class colt in the making.

Backed Tiger Mask (for pennies as skybet is a bit restricted) 3 places.
Top three in market could be anything but proven ok Group performer, Tiger mask may get run of race from the front and just thought worth an each play at around 8s

No idea why Tiger Mask is 8/1 another reason to venture only an interest bet here.

So took the 9/4 about 2nd fav Royal Playwright. Oisin may need to make a true test of it and get the fav working around the bend. The Play’s the thing, I hope!

Plumped for Royal Playwright, in a double with Sean (3.00).

Have to say I was expecting a little more from the winner (although I did like the way he initially picked up and found a few lengths) – the runner up was a shade unlucky in having to wait for the winner to kick before he could get off the rail and go after him.

Both have entries in the 1m Royal Lodge and 7F Dewhurst but the winner is also in the Champagne Stakes at Donny also over 7F and as he was quite keen early on they may want to stick to 7F – the runner up may improve for another 1F (there are 10-12F performers in his family).
