    Looked to have possibly broken a shoulder in the 6.35 at Fairyhouse yesterday when falling at the last. Nothing mentioned on RP or Irish Racing websites, but don’t think he made it. RIP.

    Oh dear – NOT a good day at Fairyhouse then – I hope they got to these injured horses quickly … RIP

    Not that quick as both horses were up and running after their falls. Sizing Africa would have been caught fairly quickly I would think as he headed straight over to the rails, but Devils Bit actually looked okay after his fall from what I could see and ran on after the others. Only the RP report, not actual detailed race result, mentioned that it was a fatal fall so I assume it was something they found out only after he was caught. :(

    I was so pleased to see them all get up from such an awful crash and had no idea that 2 of them didn’t survive. So sad.

    RIP both Devils Bit and Sizing Africa.
