    There’s no doubt that Sign Of A Victory was thrown in at the deep end and, against Faugheen in particular, it was gonna be a huge task to beat him.

    What perhaps thrown me was how bullish Barry Geraghty was about SOAV’s chances on Christmas Eve by saying "But in Sign Of A Victory I have a horse that will cause him plenty of problems, make no mistake". To run as tame as he did in yesterday’s race gave me the impression that something wasn’t quite right.

    Then again, some horses do make use look like fools :mrgreen:
