    Came down three out when clear in the 8:20 at Roscommon. I’ve been critical of Roscommon in the past, but tonight the course staff were on hand immediately with screens.

    I thought at first he may have been winded and the fact that they were still working on him as the jockeys were mounting for the next race gave me hope. However when Noel Meade and the horses lass, who was clearly very upset, emerged with the tack from behind the screens it was obvious that the result was not going to be good.

    Thanks for the update. I saw it on the replay this morning and wondered if he was okay. No mention on RP results page of course.

    very sad – was still full of running in the lead and jumping well until his fatal blunder. RIP
