Just love the RP analyst’s view of Flipando’s sp today.
The Lingfield mafia must really have gone overboard to elicit such comment from their own mouthpiece?March 2, 2009 at 01:28 #212977

Flipando shocking in the saddleMarch 2, 2009 at 01:35 #212979It’s become standard practice on the all-weather these days: if the first few favs go in, make the next return one that’ll give back 50p in the pound long term.
eg Filipando:
price on the open market 5.5
price in Donoghue’s corrupt market 2.75March 2, 2009 at 02:47 #212988Just love the RP analyst’s view of Flipando’s sp today.

Flipando shocking in the saddleFlipando is quirky horse that has to be held up. What was Spencer supposed to do? It wasn’t a good ride, but he was no more guilty of getting caught out than any of the other jockeys that allowed Abbondanza to nick it. It was a noteworthy effort to pull so far clear of the rest and provided he gets a race run to suit, there’s little doubt he’s capable of winning again, even if going or 5 or 6 lb for today.
March 2, 2009 at 16:55 #213063Not everyone in that race got caught.I fancied internatinaldebut. That horse needs held up but the jockey was wise to what was going on.One problem the horse didnt like it.So what do they do?you cant hold it up causes youll be too far back.you cant get closer because the horse will do too much early. If spencer didnt hold the fav up he may of ended up like internationalbebut ,closer, but still without a chance.
