Statistical Form Analysis plus speed figures, form figures and trainerform are used to arrive at these selections.
ALEXANDER HURRICANE 6.40 THIRSK
20 runners but only a handful with any sort of chance.
Neil Callan rides in the 4.30 at Haydock before travelling here to ride this one and then to France to ride for the same owners in the French 2000gns.
The horse is very well drawn and the form when second to Rebel Duke looks sound as the winner as been btn 5ls in a class 2 this week off 11lbs higher and the third has since won. Callan has ridden the horse 3 times and placed second on all three occasions.
Dorn Dancer is 10lbs higher than her last win and is 1 from 10 on this ground with the win being in 2004. She is about 9lbs worse on this ground compared to ground with give. Maia represents Dandy Nicholls and both her wins have been at Catterick which suggest she may prefer a turning six rather than a straight one.
Alexander Hurricane is consistent on the track and clock and must be in the frame here.GOODBYE 7.25 WARWICK
Goodbye appears to prefer a tight turning track. Her record when she has to race around a bend reads 5 races with 1 win and 4 placed as opposed to races run over a straight 6 or 7 furlongs, 1 win and 0 placed from 5. The win was at Newcastle and the straight 7 furlongs isn’t exactly straight as it turns slightly before hitting the main home straight. Her record over 7 furlongs reads 6 races with 2 wins and 2 placed with both unplaced efforts at Newmarket. Swinbank has a 23% strike rate for owner Guy Reed and Ted Durcan is 1 from 2 on the horse. There will be plenty of pace on but this track doesn’t suit hold up horses due to the tightness of the bend 2 furlongs out.
Goodbye likes to race just off the pace and this should be run to suit and she should continue to show improvement by going close here.May 10, 2008 at 14:36 #162603Welcome to TRF mlmrob and good luck for this evening.

MASTER T 4.40 PLUMPTON
Master T has a good record in this race.
2007 btn 5ls off 105
2006 Won off 101
2005 3rd off 107.He goes best for Pip Hide, 0 from 26 for all other jocks.
He goes well at Plumpton for Hide as well. 8 races have seen 3 wins and 2 places. The unplaced efforts were 2nd of 3, 3rd of 6 and 7th of 11. That can be discounted as he is 0 from 15 in double figure fields. The stable are in form and off 95 today he looks to have been targeted for this race once again.
