Sea The Stars has his first runner tomorrow at Leicester in the 2.15 in the form of a chestnut colt named Juvenile Lead. The dam is a horse called Drama Class, who like her son, was trained by Michael Stoute. I don’t really remember her, but she ran five times at the age of three winning a maiden and being placed third in listed company were her only real highlights.

The betting forecast on ATR puts him in at 13/8 fav but I think I’ll pass on him. Sea The Stars only defeat came on his debut and the dam didn’t race until July as a three year old.

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

Will be interesting to see how it gets on but over 6f I’d be tempted to pass too…if I were to be in the race Mark Johnston’s Handwoven would be my choice at bigger odds as the yard’s runners invariably improve a lot from their debut to their second outing and their record at the course is pretty good.

Never saw the race but results shows he finished 6th of 8 about 8 lengths down on Charlie Hills’ Cable Bay.

Didn’t look totally fit to me.
    Drifted from 7/2 to 5/1.
Slowly away, effort between 3 and 2 out, not knocked about.
Should know a bit more next time.
    Wouldn’t write him off yet.

I didn’t see him in the paddock but in the race he seemed a bit small compared to some of them. Probably badly needed the race but there wasn’t much to get excited about there.

Fans of Brian Meehan’s Windfast, who is prominent in the Coventry betting, will have been pleased with the result, as the winner ran 4th to him last time.

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

Was SMS’s first 2 yo of the season, going on that performance think they need a bit more work.

I am keen on Windfast’s chances in the Coventry so pleased the form has been franked. This Coach House frightens the life out of me, though!
