Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!April 12, 2021 at 16:07 #1536038I’ve had a touch there. Was going to wake up and throw the kitchen sink at Soaring Glory. Was fuming when I saw the markets were closed this morning as I knew I’d miss a price on him. Instead I’ve saved myself a few quid

April 12, 2021 at 17:22 #1536049You must have missed the smallprint, Mike. Laced with disclaimers

Can see why calico has gone so short
BF sportsbook were 4 places too when I took the 14s so very much hope he turns up
April 16, 2021 at 07:36 #1536720Going back to an earlier post I made in the Podcasts thread, another shout out to the “On The Hunt” podcast. About a fortnight ago, Ryan tipped up Diego Du Charmil for this race, ante-post, before it ran at Plumpton a few Sundays back. I took the 28/1. Although it won, it wasn’t quite the stated plan as the favourite was withdrawn, so the ante-post odds were only trimmed to around 22/1 and 25/1. However, with the final entries, it’s now as low as 7/1 and generally 8/1.
April 16, 2021 at 12:48 #1536740Diego Du Charmil 8-1 for me
April 16, 2021 at 18:58 #1536797Not the quality of some previous renewals but a very tight contest:
Milkwood 159
Glory And Fortune 159
Anna Bunina 158
Voix du Reve 157
Miss Heritage 157
Thyme White 156
Scarlet Dragon 154Handicapper seems to have these well covered but I’ll go small each-way dabble on GLORY AND FORTUNE 18/1, only once a winner but favoured by the drying ground. Second at Stratford last time looks a fair effort as the winner has progressed and he ran well for a long way in the Betfair Hurdle.
April 16, 2021 at 20:09 #1536807I’m really keen on scarlet dragon for this, had a nice first spin over hurdles in a couple of years the last day to get his eye in. Alan king is in decent form and he ran some really nice races in top company on the flat last year.
Each way value at 16s and likely will be bigger in play
April 17, 2021 at 22:14 #1536979I suspect Voix du Reve won’t run, but I’ve backed him 33/1 EW just in case. Big price for a horse who is coming back to his old level. Also added Diego du Charmil at 12/1, this race seems to be a big goal for him.
April 18, 2021 at 07:21 #1536992While Diego got back to winning ways last time it was a poor race so I’ll go with calico , useful flat horse with the ground in his favour he may well have to much speed
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
April 18, 2021 at 14:23 #1537060I’ve had a really big bet by my standards on Calico. I’m very hopeful, as this race looks easier than it has done in recent years.
April 18, 2021 at 14:44 #1537070Calico was pretty dissapointing
Thankfully scraped 4th so I got the e/w on my antepost bet
