I’m watching football tomorrow, so Ive concentrated on the one race up at Redcar. In the 4.25, Lucky Lark is forecast favourite for Mark Johnston after a single AW win. American bred, this may not like the ground and the stable’s two odds on runners today at Southwell were well beaten. Carrying a lot of weight.
I’ll take it on with Gee Dee Nen for Mark Tompkins.

Spoof Master has the benefit of a run in the Brocklesby and considering his trainer I would usually be keen to back him, however the race he was second in was around  one and a half seconds slower than the two 2yo races that have been run at Lingfield since, and they didn’t go a great gallop in either of those. My concern is the race Spoof Master ran in was close to garbage so I’ll swerve him today.

I’ll stick to the 2yo for now, at least I got that one right. I’ve given it a new rating of 80.
