I imagine the first 3 home will be Voy Por, Tranquil Sea and Barbers Shop, im just not sure in which order.
The orders fine as it is Gaz!
March 2, 2010 at 16:45 #280062Not sure there would be a CONSENSUS on that matter TAPK.
March 2, 2010 at 19:25 #280085Reasonoverfaith, the trouble with TAPK is he is either completely oblivious, ignorant or decides not to listen.
TAPK, he’s managed to win at least one race every season prior to this when not getting his optimum conditions. If you firmly believe he is still as good as he was, which you must given your arguments, then you’re more akin to the wise men who once believed the world was flat.
I still think he will run a good race and could place but he just isn’t the horse he was.
March 2, 2010 at 19:37 #280089TAPK is pinning his hopes on a lot of horses who aren’t up to it. Doesn’t bother him
March 2, 2010 at 19:49 #280092Am already on Planet Of Sound and think he has a great chance in this if staying upright. However, am also going to chance albertas run @ 25-1. Has Festival winning form and has done very little wrong this season with a win and some decent placed efforts this season. Last run looked a good prep for the festival and think his price is ridiculous when looking at what is ahead of him in the market (in the sense that it is far from beyond of his abilities). 25-1 is a steal for an e/w IMO.

There"s only one thing that bothers me when it comes to Horse racing and thats never to lose the confidence in your ability!
thankfully i have both in abundance!March 3, 2010 at 23:03 #280339If you back enough horses in each race TAPK you’re bound to hit the target at some point.

Only 3 horses in the Racing Post chase Aragorn out of 46 at the time, Massini"s Maguire at 80"s with a fiver on, Madison du Berlais at 9"s with a tenner and
Razor sharp TAPK Royale
at
60"s
with a massive £2 on,but also £10 e/w at 25"s and £15 e/w at 20"s and seeing how i hate liars so much i have to confess i had another tenner e/w at 11"s after my army of supporters followed me into battle, destroying "Pricewise" and his "Private be" on the way to Cullodin! Money talks,Money talks dirty cash i want you,Dirty cash i need you more! Watch and learn!

TAPK has already stated he is here to teach us all how profitable anti-post betting can be, a man on a mission so to speak. I think he drinks too many alco-pops.
Marble, you would have been funnier saying i was a "Wino"!

TAPK, how about you do us all a favour and actually post your bets systematically in your notebook, before the event, and keep a tally on your AP activities. Then if you can turn a long term profit I’ll give you your dues.
I know you backed Razor Royale, well done I backed Nacarat, but apart from that and Forpadydeplasterer you haven’t really been firing them in so the constant "i’m better than you lot" spiel gets a bit boring.
So do the exclamation marks but at least you’ve toned them down.
March 4, 2010 at 20:43 #280469Tranquil Sea will do for me.

Aragorn,in between backing Forpady at 20"s for last years Arkle and backing Razor last week, there"s only a years worth of bets in between!!!!!! You obviously dont read my posts, thats your choice but "TAPK"s Notes" has winners in abundance! Without going through every one,i know for a fact i had a profitable year,i PM"d certain members on this forum to get on Art Connoisseur at 40/1 a long time before he won the Golden Jubilee and they can vouch i won a 4 figure sum!Compared to most on here my wagers are few and far between! I avoid the all weather like the plague and only bet 3 figure sums on what i call quality horses,i probably average 1 a month,i will have possibly 2, £50 wagers a month, but i regularly have the odd fiver on at silly prices Ante-Post on Betfair,if i see something that catches my eye! Apologies if my "Spiels" boring but at the end of the day i love to put up winners,it gives me a sense of well being!Have a read of my thoughts on "Tidal Bay" in the World hurdle thread,it might be something, but it aint boring, did i not put that one up at 14/1 as a winner of his last race??
March 5, 2010 at 12:05 #280567To give TAPK his dues, he has hit the Bullseye on a number of occasions over the past year. I remember the stick he took for tipping Art Connoisseur last year – only to have the last laugh.
I don’t agree with some of his Chelters selections this year, but good luck to him. At least he’s entertaining!!
On topic, I agree with Bulwark that Alberta’s Run is a huge price for this – especially if the ground continues to dry.
March 5, 2010 at 14:26 #280600Petit Robin in the Ryanair now.
Interesting, horse clearly isnt a 2 miler, think this will suit down to the ground.
March 5, 2010 at 14:53 #280611Agree.I’ve backed him for quite a bit at 23, thinking his price will come in quite a bit in the coming days.
