Don’t see any real reason why samcro would reverse the form …samcro won first time out last year , I think BOD had 1 gear to many for him today
Bad mistake three out knocked the stuffing out of Samcro today; he’ll reverse the form next time.
I couldn’t see either of them beating Min or Allaho in the john durkan
Be very interesting to see what mullins runs
Allaho has been beaten by easy game ? , Min is a very good horse but I believe Battleoverdoyen is still improving , I reckon that nasty fall left its mark last year
Allaho will be 7 years old next year. Good age for this. 5 of the last 8 winners were that age. Min would have to do an Albertas Run if he wants to go back to back at 10. Un De Sceaux tried it at 10 (very good horse) but got beat by younger legs (aged 7).

Like many of mullins horses last season he needed the run
Unlike a lot of Mullins horse he doest win often , 2 wins in 9 runs doesn’t have me shaking in my boots

lol Samcro won a beginners chase last year first time out at 1/3. Big difference.

What’s more important to you? The level of performance or a 1 beside their name? Allaho is a very good horse.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!Allaho had an interrupted prep last year don’t forget. A nice spin in the Clonmel oils this year then on to Savills glory! (ground permitting).
For a race that few purists wanted or respect, this is shaping up into another belting renewal

Jack the point I’m making is I don’t believe BOD is any further on than Samcro , he beat him fair and square and I believe he,s good enough to do it again , as regards to Allaho he,s still to win at graded level , I’ll gladly take on a horse that’s only won 25% of his races …he always seems to find a horse or 2 to good for him …early days though
Isn’t BOD a bigger lump than Samcro? Physically he looks more the sort that needs their first race. Appreciate that Samcro’s jumping may sharpen more though.
Id say the RSA was a much stronger race than the marsh last season
As nice as it was to see melon, faugheen and samcro fight out the finish at this stage im fairly dubious of that form until proven otherwise
