The bookies started paying out today after his 5th winner so I had a quick look at the results so far this festival.
Ruby has had 5 rides a day so far for 15 rides and has won 5 out of the 10 races he has finished in the money.
The total prize money won by horses he’s ridden this so far this festival is £652,316 or an average of almost 43.5k/race.
Looking at his book tomorrow it is feasible he could top the million mark.
Question for the memory-knowledge people on here – is this a record or has a jockey had a better festival than this?
