The run up to Cheltenham is like the grown up version of preparing for Christmas. I get more excited each year.

Royal Ascot is more like the run up to Easter. It’s ok and you get a few eggs but it’s just different and ultimately not as good.

Iwas trying to think up a good way to phrase my feelings but you’ve just summed it up perfectly! Family and friends don’t know what to make of me from about the start of March until the festival starts!

Tough question! IT is a bit like asking Curry or Chinese?

I went with Cheltenham. If I had to never go to one again, I could not bring myself to miss the buzz of Prestbuty Park on Champion Hurdle day

I suspect my user name might give away my loyalties.
Having attended the last 23 Gold Cups & a smattering of Champion Hurdles there is just nothing like it, a few years ago over a post match pint I said to some of the lads I go with that I couldn’t imagine a time when I wouldn’t go to the festival, there were a lot of sagely nods, thats just how it grabs you.
