Palace Pier wins with his eyes closed but for thread purposes I’ll put up Lady Bowthorpe currently 2/1 for the Duke of Cambridge. If she can repeat her Lockinge performance should have a big chance

    Lay – Nothing as yet

Got plenty of Each Way shouts but I’ll put up Aristia in the Ribblesdale as she is the biggest price 33’s. Plenty at the head of the market with question marks and I think this one could prove better than she has previously shown

Battaash would be my lay probably just because of the setback he had

Though I have him in a couple of multis I placed just before hills announced he’d had an injury

Or maybe Saldier who I have backed but is surely too short in the copper horse handicap now

I think top rank looks a cracking bet in the without market TTC cant see why the two obrein horses are so much shorter than him

Nap: Flotus, Albany Stakes. Impressive on debut at Goodwood, especially the way she powered clear in the last furlong.

Lay: Palace Pier. But only because I backed him at 5/1 (enhanced to 5.43/1) at the end of March, so I can lay him for a guaranteed profit! B-)

Each way: Pierre Lapin at 25/1 in the Wokingham. Not sure if he is going to run and he has been out of form. However, he was sent off favourite in last year’s Commonwealth Cup and showed a little bit more at Thirsk last time. It is last chance saloon for him but I will take a chance at that price.

Agreed FF. And PP has bombed once, and that once was the Ascot straight mile. I’m very confident of some sort of a profit on the bet, time will tell.

Nap Armory in the pow. Not sure Lord north form as good as it looks and love will need to be fully fit to win this.
Lay Stradavarius. Looks his toughest task yet to me and might find one pips him
Ew Euchan glen. 16/1. Many assuming his last win a fluke. We shall see.
