Ricky old son you got problems here.
I don’t think an apology will do.
I am taking a break from here.
My question is – will you come with me
to save the peace. Shall we say six monnths
and a pm to Pilsen to apologise now
or when you come back.You have upset a member at Xmas
he has taken it bad.Will you do the right thing
and come away with me for the
peace of this house ?Ricky is asleep I guess.
Anyway, that is my solution.
As no apology has ever been
forthcoming only threats
and stalls and he has said

I had not really planned the

there were parts of it I found
amusing, your comments about
the deaf doctor I found hilarious,
and there was some art to it.
however I wasn’t dressed up
in sequins and referred to
as Miss Gambledude with warnings
of breaks to my anatomy.You also have taken a fair
bit of criticism from me
which you have responded to
pretty well.

comments gave me a bit of
a Xmas laugh Possibly I should have posted
all this in the bleak or just
not bothered.I got the last train out of this
overcrowded less broke citi on
Xmas eve. All trains were cancelled
and I saw a lot with heavy bags
and nowhere to go for Xmas but
back to the start.I gambled taking the last train to Clarksville
it was that far away for my destination,
then a bus then another train as the rain
deluged down. Picked up by a smart car.
Whether I over did the drink that first
evening or the exertions of the journey did it,
I do not know, but I awoke with one ear badly
blocked the other partly. I had a blinding
headache that has been with me for four days.
I suffered on and of with nausea, and the guest room
was little used and dusty and this brought
on asthma to such an extent I could not
talk without coughing. I enjoyed the Xmas
festivities but in a somewhat restricted way,
but yes the snowman and his dog was right
up my street, but to be a deaf mute in the
corner at this time of year was not
on my Xmas list.I spent a lot of the time in bed.
I had time to reflect in my mind
on the bleak thread and the Pilsen Lake saga
inside it and spilling out and over.I cam out with a slightly new angle, and
I thought an important one.
Ricky Lake you took on Pilsen, without really
knowing who he really was. This is rather evident
if you read the Bleak. Ricky you had not been
in the lounge for many years, and I had to
fill you in late on, with Mr Pilsen’s rather
colourful history, which you were grateful
for. Mr Ian Davies even referred to Mr Pilsen
as the true lord of the lounge, a statement
you never picked up on, or deflected.If you read the splash bible you will see
that anyone who wreaks havoc on another should
know their enemy and know him well.
You fell foul of that basic rule and
hence the cracking eggs and some of the
remnants left on you. This thread is a little
tamer than the dude one, less colourful,
but in a way, part of your legacy.My hearing is a lot better and still taking
paracetamol for the head. It may be a consequence
of ear infection or steroid withdrawal.My last words on the Pilsen Lake affair.
I will slide back into my comfortable hole
and settle by its big window with a cup of cha
and home made Xmas cake.Some have said I have
lost my sharpness and mental powers. Physical
problems can impinge on and affect the mind,
but I do no think I am suffering from mental fog.
My memory feels very sharp and reasoning also.
I do take note though, and heavy computer
usage that I get accustomed to, is both bad
for the body and mind, and I intend to ease up
on my electro magnetic force intake, and have
a restorative period of physical and mental healing.
Turn of my cell phone, disconnect the wi fi,
and just watch the sky and the stars – the slow
slow movers.I wish you all a Happy and very peaceful
New Year here on the main board and also
all those writing on the sub boards.(p.s have padded out the last but one paragraph

this criticism. I have to admire your
