Off to try his luck in Hong Kong. I hope it works out for him.
June 30, 2025 at 23:25 #1735266I wish him every success.
It could have been very different for him , as he has talent , but circumstances conspired against him here.July 1, 2025 at 07:50 #1735269Loads of money to be earnt , no travelling , all taken care of , but highly regulated and real stipes . No messing with them or it could be jail time sometimes as Chris Munce found out taking money for tips .

Some local punters think they are joke.
Look at No 12 Run Run Timing in the race on 11 Jun with replay and race info below. He was pulled up by Andrea Atzeni without any proper explanation. Even the trainer was surprised by that move.

https://racing.hkjc.com/racing/video/play.asp?type=replay-full&date=20250611&no=03&lang=engLocal punters believed that if local jockey did the same thing, he would be suspensed and have no chance to ride in HK again.
Luckily, Run Run Timing just ran again and finished unplaced. Otherwise, that would be more embarrassing.
Just hope Richard Kingscote will not learn these things.
