It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"June 16, 2023 at 16:15 #1651660Think they are rushing it with this Al Asifah decision – yes she won easily on both starts but she obviously had an issue that meant she did not run at 2 and now they are asking her to have 3 runs inside a calendar month (debut was on 25 May).
Would have preferred her to have gone straight to the Irish Oaks instead but guessing that if she wins Thursday, they will probably still go to Ireland afterwards as well.
June 16, 2023 at 19:16 #1651675Contrary to popular disbelief Al Asifah is not my new equine gf
She only lets Jim Crowley ride her and as yet has refused to take a tap of the riding crop
I’ve nicknamed her the Fridge…Blackbeard to conquer the World

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"June 16, 2023 at 21:32 #1651696I might go for Bluestocking if she runs. She wasn’t ready for the Oaks and might be one with potential still.
June 16, 2023 at 21:51 #1651699The fridge should be being looked after for next years Arc
I wouldn’t be running her so soon as LD73 has said and would have waited for the Irish Oaks
That said it looks a very winnable race for her at this stage so I’ve doubled her up with HukumBlackbeard to conquer the World
June 17, 2023 at 07:00 #1651720Racing Toast Exclusive: “Besotted punter interferes with Royal Ascot fav’s diet”
“Al Asifah’s Riddlesdale bid was last night in doubt after it a love-crazed punter sent her a box of Thornton Continental which the filly consumed in full (including the box) at evening stables. To compound the matter, Al Asirah also ate the bunch of flowers that accompanied the chocolates. A man in a yellow baseball cap is helping police with their inquiries.”

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"June 17, 2023 at 07:53 #1651727Some have argued that the Ribblesdale might come too quickly, and if she were mine I’d be keeping her for the Nassau, but NEG didn’t even have a race last Sunday. She probably works harder than that on the gallops at home.
June 17, 2023 at 08:06 #1651730Joking aside, I agree with Gladders.
She won with her head in her chest at Goodwood and if she’s any good she should be up to winning a weak Group 2 11 days later where nothing going into it has an OR higher than 105.

June 21, 2023 at 18:54 #1652667OK, Al Asifah MIGHT be the best thing since the invention of the chocolate hob nob, and she MIGHT hose up in this before jetting off to Las Vegas to wed Nathan in some bizarre, David Lynch-esque, midnight ceremony conducted by a priest who’s been excommunicated.
But I cannot see why Crowne Princesse is 34 in the Betfair win market when she was third in the Prix Saint-Alary, a short-head behind Elusive Princess, who was beaten less than six lengths by the mighty Blue Rose Cen in the Prix de Diane.
That’s just too big in my book.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"June 21, 2023 at 19:48 #1652676Thanks for that info, Ian.
I was already on Bluestocking e/w @8-1 but have now added Crown Princesse e/w @ 28-1 4 places!
Very good luck with your on the nose bet!
June 21, 2023 at 20:15 #1652679I suspect that AI will eventually assist in determining whether e/w or on the nose might prove more profitable depending on strength of favourite and extent of e/w terms.
June 21, 2023 at 20:17 #1652681“Thanks for that info, Ian.”

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"June 21, 2023 at 22:12 #1652704I’ve really liked what I’ve seen from Midnight Mile, and I think she’s got decent chance of making the four.
I was really happy with the opening 18’s, but I’ve now topped up EW at 20’s. I’ll definitely have more if she goes out again
