Just a quick post re Red Tanber;
Red Tanber has improved hoof over hoof this season and now goes for the Jewson on Thursday.
I think the best price with some bookies is 66/1, but 33/1 in places. Luckily (for me) i backed him each way for the Jewson before he won at Kelso last Saturday week and got 200/1.
Ok, he’s been running in lesser company so far this season, but my word – i think this is a good each way bet on a non forlorn hope.
Good luck to Lucy Alexander this week too!
Given that Red Tanber’s as good a jumper as I’ve seen on the northern circuit this season, he gained ground at each fence last time, and you could do worse than be on at 200/1. If he jumps round it only needs a few to go astray one way and another for a place to be a possibility.
