Leaders all across the world are realising that being associated with Trump is toxic with their electorate. Meloni is simply trying to distance herself from the tangerine tyrant as best she can.
I hadn’t been but I’ve just had a look. The fallout will be interesting when it does eventually make it back to dry land. Whilst they’ll probably do their best to silence them, there are thousands of troops and it doesn’t take many.
Wonder how many of them and their families voted for the draft dodger in chief. I’m not saying they deserve it by any means but there will I’m sure be a good chunk of them who are currently having their faces eaten by the proverbial leopards.
Certainly should be a bigger story. Pretty shocking stuff for a nation that supposedly idolises its military and spends an absolute fortune on it.
The US public need to realise God won’t save America only it’s own people , Trump is already on manoeuvres to delay/canx the Nov elections , but hey this is the greatest democracy in the world …

This is Trump,who thinks he’s above the law. I’m still under the impression that’ll he stand for a third term.
The Trump dividend is according to him paid to every adult where the state wins their midterm elections and can only be spent in America. It’s raised because of the tariffs.

Obviously nobody will ever see a single cent but this level of bribery and corruption is beyond the pale. Imagine the reaction if this was almost anyone else in any country.
The only two explanations for why it’s ‘allowed’ are that the various layers of government and/or courts who could do something about this are either unwilling or unable to do so. Given that I’m sure they’d find a way of removing a Democrat who behaved in this way, I’m going to conclude that they are unwilling.
I wonder how long it will be before the right wing parties over here are copying it, everything else they do is from the Trump playbook.

Heather Cox Richardson and Hawk are two of the best American political commentators on YouTube, in my opinion, together with an ex-marine who goes under the name of Large Man Abroad.
I’ll listen to it with Mike ( bit of moral support). I don’t usually give up on something. The man was so obviously distressed about it it got to me. I do listen to Heather. She’s excellent. I just don’t understand how this can be happening. And, in this country, Farage has openly said that if they get elected they will push though all of their policies straight away. This put the fear of God into me but no one else seems to take it seriously.
