Cav, you should have made this a forum quiz…match the jockey to the comment.
I’ll start off with…- Charismatic = Ryan Moore

Bit of a 2 piece jigsaw in fairness, Ken.
August 3, 2010 at 16:19 #310780Was the NK dissdent really the subject of verbal assault at Goodwood? The only person that seemed to see it was a first time poster on Big Blue.
Surely there’s someone here that was in the paddock area around 5pm last Thursday. Did it happen or not? Okay, you may join the ranks of the ‘disappeared’ if you did see it, but we need the full SP.
August 3, 2010 at 17:13 #310788I have had confirmation that Harry F approached a couple of members of the RUK team who he asked to "have a word" with Mr Neesom, but he apologised for his rant shortly afterwards. More than that I do not know.
August 3, 2010 at 17:22 #310790It was on BF and then on a BF lookalike forum with 10 members and nothing mentioned since. the fact that Lydia witnessed it all means it’s odds on that the truth will come out at some stage in the next 50 years.
Findlay can’t use his BF account according to the account that he gave the BHA, seems to be selling off all his horses every six months and is talking about going to Australia Do they accept people with criminal recors and no money nowadays
August 3, 2010 at 17:25 #310794A few weeks ago on ATR he told Matt Chapman he’d made 24 million from gambling but was break even on the horses.
A few days ago he told, Jim Mc Grath, in The Telegraph..
"I’ve lost £2.5m gambling on racing, but I’ve won £11.5m on other sports."
August 3, 2010 at 17:29 #310795and he can’t use his BF account……….

rory – You must know a bit morre by know. After all Betfair killed all the threads mentioning the Harry v Neesom bout. Are you sure that your not a messenger for Harry come to tell us that he has aoplogised for haranguing Neesom.
February 9, 2012 at 18:47 #20952Does anyone subscribe to this service online its £10 cheaper than the TV service but is it any good? like not always buffering and more like iplayer?
Cheers <!– s:wink: –><!– s:wink: –>
February 9, 2012 at 23:18 #390554I don’t have sky so subscribe to both RUK and ATR online. I don’t seem to have any problems with buffering although I don’t find the stream as smooth as ATR. Sometimes the picture tends to stop for a milli-second seems to be a lot when they are jumping fences for some reason. Don’t have same problem with ATR which is very smooth. If I had sky I think I would prefer to watch on the TV.
February 10, 2012 at 04:49 #390572Thanks for the reply
February 10, 2012 at 10:54 #390589I’ve used just the online service for a year or more now, and have been quite happy with it. Despite still using a prehistoric ADSL connection buffering problems are rare, and they tend to occur after 5.00pm which is not a failing of the RUK feed but my ISP, as high traffic levels in the early evening tend to cause intermittent hangs on other sites too
February 10, 2012 at 11:56 #390597I forgot to ask how is the quality?
Cheers
February 10, 2012 at 13:28 #390610Quality is better than the ATR stream… for me at least. Think the RUK stream is good value for money. I’m quite happy and have no problems with it. But I guess it depends very much on your internet connection.
February 10, 2012 at 14:34 #390615Good quality pic here. Generally very reliable.
February 10, 2012 at 20:40 #390660I have found the online service good quality and reliable.
Price wise is the difference now just a fiver? Twenty pounds for the sky service and fifteen pounds for online. I am tempted to do away with RUK through sky but noticed they had changed their pricing structure and the difference is only a fiver now.
I am increasingly finding it difficult to justify £20 PCM and it’s almost more enjoyable to view the races through the racing replay service online for free. They are generally online half hour after the race anyway.
July 23, 2012 at 10:53 #22310Such is the frequency of his appearances on RUK at the moment, I wondered if Oli Bell had taken over at the channel since his recent return to our screens.
Tying in with this is a small piece in the Daily Mail…<!– m –>http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/racing … nsend.html<!– m –>
Now Oli is a safe pair of hands and a perfectly competent broadcaster imo (despite the introduction of the highly annoying continuous and exaggerated hand and arm movement for emphasis routine), but what a shame RUK’s A listers are now being encroached upon, on racings premier days. Frankly he’s not in the same league as Lydia Hislop or Nick Luck, whom if memory serves me correctly, present at Glorious Goodwood each year.
Is this the dumbing down your always banging on about Ricky?
I’m with you if it is.
ps take a look at George Alagiah for the hand movement Oli, he knows how to do it……..
