    Can somebody help me understand something here please.

    I have been looking at the cards for the forthcoming Group 1’s.
    Using the Irish Derby entrants Carlton House and Native Khan as examples, Carlton House has a RPR showing as 135 and Native Khan showing as 132.

    The best RPR’s these 2 colts have been awarded after racing is 121 and 118, both acheived in the Epsom Derby.

    My question is how are the 135 and 132 for the future race arrived at?

    The ratings have been adjusted for any weight to be carried below 10st:

    As both horses will carry 9st the ratings have been adjusted by 14Ibs so 121 becomes 135 and 118 becomes 132.
