Only Podcast I listen to is The Barstewards’s Enquiry on YouTube.

It never fails to entertain me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npoapMCwqms&ab_channel=TheBarstewardsEnquiry

If Kennedy mentions the fooking Tote again I will go mad. I would not mind as he keeps saying they won’t ban you no matter what you win or how much you bet, but the RP report how the Tote are questioning people after having deposited more than £750 in their account.
No wonder racing is in dire straits. The first time they question me I am off to the black market like I suspect many others will.
Anyway I hope the Tote are paying Kennedy enough to promote themselves as I am no longer listening to his podcast. Bye bye FFP you are gone.

I admit Kennedy does witter on but he invariably has very good guests on. Virtually every podcast now promotes it sponsor so I’m used to it by now. Best thing about the ffp is that you get great insight into the Irish runners.

Presented and generally guested by people steeped in the game, The Oddscrackers Podcast seems to go under the radar a bit. Its a good listen, particularly from a punting perspective, if that’s your thing.

Are there any podcasts that mainly focus on the industry, talking about news, jockeys, the money side of betting, training horses, trainers’ approaches, etc. I have no interest in listening to fellas tipping horses with no comeuppance for them. Talking about races after they happen is a little better, analysing what happened, and what the horse’s potential is, but really I’m just looking for one that takes account of the wider goings on in the racing world.

FiftyP – Nick Luck on Sundays on Racing TV covers topics like you describe. If you don’t have a Racing TV subscription the podcasts usually appear on youtube.

There’s one of the latest ones the attached link and others to the right of that link. Hope that helps.

I’m watching Luck On Sunday as I type this. Thanks! B-)

Edit: I just have to hope in August when my RTV promo ends they’ll offer me something similar on the phone. Mostly I was wondering about similar dealings in other podcasts. Those two minute talks were exactly what I was thinking I’d like more of, even longer than two minutes.

Thank you droffats for podacast – at last something I can understand.

What the HELL ON EARTH is a podcast ?…sounds like the re-birth of Day of The Triffids – Good ol’ Dave Wyndy.. or could it be the muck left after Quartermass drained the pit, or 71 year old Sigourney Weaver’s phantom afterbirth…?

“I’m Bob, now how Siggy gave birth in that tight skinsuit I will never know, but she tells me I came out of a pod, and quite honestly, thank God.”
I was born in the rough side of town, and my first words were..
    ” I miss Brian Clough.”

I`ve just subscribed to Barstewardsenquiry, only 23 subscribers thus far. Nevertheless, looks
like a treasure trove of articles. Looking forward to dipping into them.

    Thanks for highlighting this.

If this is a reference to The Barstewards Enquiry, I spent my childhood in Manchester, Stoke-On-Trent, Sheffield and Hull (all the glamour spots!) but have lived “dahn sarf” in London then Hampshire since 1984.

I find both John and Lee perfectly easy to understand – they are knowledgeable and frequently hilarious!
