A contractor had a job in a mental hospital that involved digging a big hole.<br>When he arrived at the site he was told by the hospital manager that he had 3 inmates that would assist.<br>Great thought the contractor so he showed them the area and told them to get digging.<br>He said ”I have to go and get a few things but just keep digging and I will be back soon’.<br>When he returned he saw one inmate just standing by the hole ‘what do you think your’e doing’ he said.<br>The 1st inmate said I’m a lampost shining into the hole'<br>’Your’e useless said the contractor ‘Go back to the ward’.<br>He than asked the 2nd inmate what are you doing?.<br>’Im also a lampost shining into the hole!.<br>’Get back to your ward’ said the contractor you are no good at all.<br>As soon as he said that the 3rd inmate climbed out of the hole. ‘What do you think youre doing he asked.<br>The 3rd inmate said ‘theres no way I can dig in the dark.’
