G1 winner fatally injured during exercise.
July 9, 2020 at 23:21 #1493407Devasted to read this news tonight, he was a rising star and won all 3 of his starts his best being in the Group 1 National Stakes at The Curragh where he saw off Anthony Van Dyke.
Bugged by injury he never made it back on the racecourse and really feel for Charlie Appleby and all the Godolphin team who had put so much faith and time into bringing him back to good health and to race once more.
RIP Quorto ⚘ you will be missed.🌱
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...July 10, 2020 at 09:26 #1493440Awful news. Really nice tribute from his lad on Twitter
R.I.P QUORTO, My heart broke this morning Broken heart we bonded so much the last few months together and not shamed to say I shed a few tears. An absolute character who always entertained me in our time together. Such a tough game at times. Always have the memories
July 10, 2020 at 09:53 #1493442I couldn’t quite believe it when I heard the news, I was really shocked.
He would have gone on to great things if they could have kept him fit.
I was apprehensive about watching his 3 races again but I’m glad I did,
it brought a smile to my face. He was just like his dad winning the National
Stakes. I will miss him.July 10, 2020 at 12:26 #1493460So sad to read this. I remember well his performance in Ireland and felt he was destined for a massive career. I often wondered what happened to him for him not to make the racecourse as a 3 year old. Such a shame. RIP Quorto.
July 11, 2020 at 21:42 #1493668Another sad loss, hugely talented, RIP Quorto.
