All 3 in front ran great races and will have good chances in the Leger.
Nelson didn’t fall back too badly considering he basically set the pace…..wouldn’t give up on him .

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!June 20, 2018 at 15:29 #1357564Well done Raymo and others. Kew Gardens enjoyed the ground and did Nelson go off to make the pace for him on it?
The ITV team are having orgasms about Kew Gardens but he was hardly winning out of turn after the entire forum seemed to be on him at 6/1 for the Lingfield Derby trial, only for him to go off odds-on and fail behind knight To Behold. To rub it in further, Kew Gardens stank in the Derby, yet still managed to reverse form with Knight To Behold from Lingfield

Obviously, if it is good or faster in the Leger, Kew Gardens will have an excellent chance but if it is softer and Nelson is ridden less aggressively, he might be a factor.
Southern France was a lay for me today and I felt he might be a cup horse of the future. He has run well today, staying on in the style of a horse who would appreciate 2 miles. The pundits were wowing the chances of Kew Gardens being a Cup horse but I would say the less exposed Southern France might just be the better long term shout.
I couldn’t have Stream Of Stars today and I reckon blind backing of Gosden was the sole reason for his odds today. He had a hell of a lot on his plate there today. 11/4 Fav against better horses

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
June 20, 2018 at 16:12 #1357573Pretty obvious Stream of Stars is capable of a lot better than he showed today. Travelled very well but didn’t settle and therefore didn’t stay.
Value Is EverythingJune 20, 2018 at 22:48 #1357655Needed that!
Kew Gardens done it well whilst Algomhared finished in the last of the four places on offer with Skybet at 16s.
