    Love Reigns.

Very impressive on her debut at Keeneland, 5.5F. She’s in Lady Aurelia’s colors. Deja vu ????

Here’s the link to the replay of her race:

3/1 best price she is at the moment

Looked like an airplane didn’t she

Should be ground versatile like campanelle too being by US Navy Flag out of a pivotal mare

    Ward on love reigns

The former made a huge impression on her Keeneland debut and is well fancied to provide her trainer with a fifth Queen Mary success.

Ward added: “She had about the best debut race I’ve ever had here at Keeneland – she won by almost 10 lengths and just scampered away from them.

“The guy that gives the figures here really didn’t want to give her a figure because he was sort of unsure thinking ‘how could she run that fast?’.

“She has had three or four pieces of work since then and all of them have been nice and steady and beautiful breezes. Every horse that kind of engaged her, she just exploded away from them.

“She’s coming over the Queen Mary and we’re really excited about her.”

Another one who likes the American filly here. Difference with her compared to so many of the Ward hype horses is that she is not a huge American juicer as most of his fillies are but is instead simply one who is just ridiculously fast.

She’s not that big and won’t tower over them like Acapulco did for example but she’s so quick I think she beats them like Lady A did by pure speed from the first stride.

“She’s not that big and won’t tower over them like Acapulco did…”

I chuckled when I read that, as I recall Ryan Moore saying that he thought she was a 4-y-o when he first saw her…

What I like about Love Reigns is that, even though she just about makes all on Firm ground, it’s 5f110yds and the further she goes the better she gets.

That augurs well for a stiff five on an easier surface.

My only other thought is that Beverley is a stiff five and I would never instantly dismiss a Hilary Needler winner in this race – 40/1 Star Of Lady M will be of interest if she’s declared to run.

Be great if Danny Tudhope could be top jockey by Saturday’s end.
