Born To Rock was a very good winner of a maiden at Yarmouth for Jane Chapple Hyam, someone who is no stranger to the winners enclosure at the Royal meeting. She confirmed the Queen Mary is her next race.
Took 11/1 with Ladbrokes.

How anyone can have a bet on the Queen Mary pre-Hilary Needler is beyond me.

Absolutely fair comment, Mike, and tbh I myself, when in doubt, play a posting literally with a straight bat.
I guess I thought my obsessional Hilary Needler thread made it obvious, but that was presumptuous of me – apologies.
IIRC Devon Ditty was third to Greenland Park in 1978 and Attraction (too lazy to check) might have won both, but I think the time gap between the two races has shortened a bit since then.
