3.3 currently for modern games, by the off im
Expecting him to be bigger because of the frankie ascot nonsense, 3.3 is an insult, i was against him LTO but i wont be making that mistake again, hes an absolute certainty to beat inspiral, and against the rest he’d be 1/2 so unless something else finds some form
Of improvement, which looks unlikely, he wont lose if running to form

Everyone’s favourite opinionated processed meat is back just in time for Royal Ascot.

As stated, I like Modern Games a LOT in this, but it seems to me all his best form is on a resilient surface and he managed to get beat by Bayside Boy in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes on an easy surface here last autumn.

So I’m waiting on the weather with him.

As for Inspiral, nice filly, but how moderate a renewal was that Coronation Stakes she won and her finest hour has to be winning the Prix Jacques Le Marois where she beat, err, Light Infantry (ffs) a neck.

I can’t get exited about this race so am siding with Cash to outrun his odds.

If for anyone like me not willing to risk any sort of money on this Betfair have a money back as a free bet if you put a tenner on the exchange.
Skybet have money back if finishing 2nd 3rd or 4th, amount will differ per customer.
William Hill have boosted Frankie to evens for a max £10 bet to ride a winner on day 1.

He’s obviously vulnerable for the win at this level, but I do like Berkshire Shadow.

Took the 33’s, and at the very least hoping for a run for my money, and having went win only, maybe try to claw stakes back in running.

Chindit drawn 12 and Modern Games in 8
If Hannon has sharpened Chindits teeth it could be worth Buick steering a different pathway
top jockey he various between 9/2 and 7/1 but if he loses a hand in the first race its game over

Had to show my face ian to liven the place up a touch, for all i lay alot more than back
On the flat in comparison to jumps, this years royal ascot looks as good and as competitive
Of a flat festival for a long time, very few shorties.

    Surprised the threads arent booming,

Pity, will have to live with me saying certainty a dozen times and upsetting someone with a mouthy opinion :yahoo:

As for the weather, ah sure id say the firmer will suit, but he’ll still have inspiral 9 places behind, hopefully be a tasty enough match bet with the two of them tomorrow, evs the pair would be nice, Ittl be a mammoth bet from me on MG if so

Sorry to spoil Frankie D’s party but with a much needed wind op now in place I think
Native Trail – 8/1 will take all the beating and recapture the brilliance he showed as a 2yo when winning the Superlative and going on to achieve success in the Craven, the Irish National Stakes and Irish 2000 Guineas.
After that he lost his way little and it was decided he should have a small wind op. Charlie Appleby is extremely happy with him going into this race and at 8/1 he represents the best EW value in the Queen Anne.

A really exciting race to kick off Royal Ascot. The best days racing of the whole week :yahoo: Jac

    Update from BHA…

“Following 10mm rain in a heavy shower between 6.30 and 7.30am, the forecast is now for a generally dry day. The Going and Goingstick readings will be reaasessed by midday.”

You’d imagine the going will be good, good to firm in places on the straight track by race time

Which will be fine for every horse

They’d have probably put a good amount on the track last night anyway if it wasn’t for the forecast

Rain will be irrelevant id say FF, too early in the day to have any real say so on the going at the off
