Were they both ok? I don’t really think so. What a track for perverts this Southwell NH course is. The ugliest falls you can ever think of occur there, yet owners and trainers like to risk their beloved horses there.
When you run one at Southwell, no matter what the outcome is, you don’t care much about it.
I hope to get some positive news from you people regarding both horses. However the falls were horrible and the screens round Peaks of Fire didn`t promise too much.November 8, 2013 at 20:50 #457693Totally agree, Poor POF …..that horse did not like his job, from the start he was not enjoying it and looking to get out there. It’s bad enough to see these animals hurt when they enjoy their job ….. the sting in the tail is when horses are hurt when they are just not into it.
November 9, 2013 at 00:02 #457712Desperate to hear any news on these 2. Agreed it certainly didn’t look good for either but any news will be appreciated. Anyone any the wiser?
November 9, 2013 at 14:59 #457831My Husband was there yesterday and Quantique was just winded and definitely stood up and walked away, and the commentator even commented on this. But did not hear or see any news on Peaks of Fire.
