The well named Hot Snap has burned my fingers so often this season they are still bandaged. But I’ve managed to tap out another max bet on her at 11/2 through the Racing Post app (stake returned as free bet if 2nd).

Having got going all too late in her last two runs, this 12f should see her at her best.

If she loses again tomorrow, I will hitchhike to Newmarket, break into her box and berate her like a guest on the Jeremy Kyle show, until the police haul me away, still raving and gesticulating, covered in tears and snot, as Lady Cecil looks on in horror and prays for Scottish Independence and the re-erection of Hadrian’s Wall.

all the way for me tomorrow, her performance in the St. Leger must make her one of the Leading Lights

Good luck! My list of 3 has her as the third (unoriginal!) and the prices all look to tight for me. Agree with you though the step up may just be what she needs, not been ideal last twice.

Talent was 4/1 to back EW 1/4 odds – if she goes that again might be a bet to nothing?

    Winner trounced ’em.

I’m off to Warren Place to sort out Hot Snap who was being pushed along after 3 furlongs. Doubtless she’ll dot up some day at a big price, but I’m done with her.

I’m pretty useless with fillies. Could never get The Fugue right either :(

I heard it was well known to racing insiders on Guineas day that Hot Snap jarred herself up in the Nell Gwyn. It seems she hasn’t been the same since Joe. When you think of the speed and form she showed in the Group 3, looked in need of further in Nassau and again pushed along early today.

I’d love to know how on earth they have managed to get this upgraded to Group 1. Bloody ridiculous.

Well many have done their money, like me, a few times as she’s been strongly supported in her past 4 outings. She had an awful run through in the Nassau and I thought her a cert next time and backed accordingly. She was struggling so early in the race today she was either amiss or hated the ground. Whatever, I’m done with her now. Followed her to the edge of the cliff. I ain’t going over!
