Great turnout with a bit of a ‘All Our Yesterdays’ feeling about it with the likes of Norman Williamson, Graham Bradley, Charlie Swan, Lorcan Wyer, Brendan Powell, Paul Carberry, Connor O’Dwyer and even Luke Harvey donning the silks but perhaps the standout is the reuniting of the old firm of Aiden O’Brien and Mick Kinane on the somewhat aptly named Air Supremacy.

We also have a few interesting horses running in the race with the likes of Ballycasey, Monksland, Tiger Roll and the mercurial Pallasator (now under the care of Gordon Elliott).

There is also a nice looking 3m1f Chase on the cards with the likes of previous GC runners Carlingford Lough, Outlander and Minella Rocco and the continued improvers Road To Respect and Sub Lieutenant

Pallasator walks it and with no histrionics either – maybe the change of scene and the fact that Elliott confirms that he has schooled very well over hurdles has sweetened him up some – could be a very interesting new recruit to the winter game.
