Washout Day Three for me, but I’ll
have another go Thursday, as Friday will be very quiet for me anyway.

I like Holly in the opener. Notebook horse of mine, much improved this season, and hoping the claimer makes the difference.

Uncle Phil another notebook horse, but still missed him when he won. Reluctantly passing him over. Still considering stablemate Saint Roi, but only one I’m definitely betting is Rebel Gold. Smashing run last time, down in grade, and I’ll stick with the claimer again

Coko Beach a proper fav of mine, but too short for me to bet. I’ll go with Subset, course winner who’s way too big

Sire Du Berlais is my Antepost pick later, and in the following hurdle, going with Kilbeg King and What Path. If my luck turns earlier, I wouldn’t rule out me backing Chantry House

    Holly 7’s
    Rebel Gold EW 5Pls
    Subset 125’s EW 4Pls
    Sire Du Berlais 10’s
    Kilbeg King
    What Path 40’s EW 6Pls

Ham, F2F fav in places yesterday after the race. I’m on at 10’s but agree price is too short now
I’ve also got GDC’s onside but they don’t go on forever and the younger legs coming through eventually get the better of them. F2F looks very promising to me, hardly came off the bridle at Cheltenham and would have beat Grey Dawning if he’d have raced too

Why did the jockey have to fall off A Rated in the La Touche? I had £4 on him at 654. It was a long way out but it was starting to get a bit exciting..

There was a lot going on in that race that the commentator didn’t seem to notice. Didn’t a loose horse run into one horse and knock it’s jockey off?

Commentator didn’t even see the Stumptown wipeout, dunno how he missed it, pretty dramatic.

Not sure why Townend let that develop into a sprint. Probably end up in the Ryanair after that..

Paul has ridden an absolute shocker on Gaelic Warrior. Should have been pushing the pace from a mile out and the race would’ve been put to bed by the 3rd last.

I’ve been a fan of his but his overly cautious tactics have gone too far this season. Rides far too safe far too often.

He is a bit battered and bruised after yesterday. Maybe he’s not riding well because of it?

I think your being harsh on the winner , I reckon he’s a very talented horse , that’s 2 nice pickups I’ve had off him , backing Garlic at odds on is worthy of a trip to the nuthouse

Spot on HDLG the winner is very talented and the reason why Townend should have made more use of Gaelic Warrior
