Mystical Power is my main fancy of the day. Has yet to meet decent ground over hurdles and being by Gallileo, I’m expecting a much better horse.
Being so highly strung, running at home should suit and I wouldn’t be surprised if Willie doesn’t even parade him today.
    I took the 9/2 antepost.

My other bet today is Gentleman De Mee. He should love the better ground and often comes good at this time of year. His run in the Queen Mother was very promising considering he would’ve hated the going.

I thought he’d been given too much to do but that was good, also considering he’s a year younger than his main rivals.

Not sure what happened to Slade steel there

    Travelled like the best horse

Cantering turning in, everything else at it, then found nothing

Was counting my money with how strongly he normally finishes

fancied Slade Steel, after skipping Aintree; formline is constant with the first 3 well ahead of the others. If Mystical Power takes after his mother and continues to improve should be a contender for C Hurdle next year. Don’t yet know how the formalise will stand up in open company.

I think he’s got a chance, Nathan. Only 9s now. I’ll go with Bialystok 10s.

Just wondering what Effernock Fizz could produce from the front.

Don’t think Brentford Hope would have won but the jockey didn’t cover himself in glory getting himself into trouble on the inside leaving the path wide open out wide for Daddy Long Legs

I think he could have been a lot closer, but I don’t think he would have won.

“A bit mindful that Daddy Long Legs was probably being seen as their Supreme horse early doors and if he’s that good he will be thrown in off 135 and I’d say Paul Townend going for him over Bialystok, the defending champion in this race who comes in decent form and not without a chance is very telling,”

    There you go TTM
