“Chezza thinks it’s a remarkable achievement for a yard to manage without fail to produce the best racehorse (hence prospective stallion) they’ve ever had every single year, 20 years plus and counting.”

As the great man himself would say “Unbelievable” (literally).

To be fair they don’t always claim each colt is the best they ever had. They mix it up a bit: fastest, most physically imposing, most beautiful mind, best moving, best at solving quadratic equations, best at hosting a dinner party for 12 at short notice…

“Never mind all the maybes about running, just have a few quid on at the very least.”

That is the way I look at it. If he lines up, I will be very surprised if he is bigger than 8/1 on the day. He certainly will not be that price on the Pari-Mutuel.

    Green you left out…
…and best for winning the Ark whilst wearing a dinner jacket, balancing 2 trays of champagne filled glasses on his back, pausing at the winning post to take a Selfie before swanning into the winners enclosure singing the Japanese National Anthem… :yahoo:
And that’s before the rest of the field reached the furlong from home pole. B-) Jac

    Equinoxがアークに勝った場合、Chezzaはボーンマスのサイズの寿司宴会を片手に食べます

    Feed the flame @ 50/1

Needs to take another couple of giant steps up the ladder to be in with a chance for this but he has looked very smart on his first two runs to date.

I suppose the issue for Emily Upjohn is the ground. But she was a decisive winner on good to soft at Ascot last autumn.

    Taken 17/2.

Tunnes is now 66/1 for this which is interesting

Emily upjohn and Auguste Rodin are joint favs, will either of them be seen to best effect if we get the bog that we keep getting? I don’t think so personally

Not sure why they even bought tunnes over his form suggests he’s ground dependant

We may see a new contender enter the scene at chantilly tomorrow with both big rock and feed the flame looking to have big potential

Added Ace Impact 10-1 for now. Liked the way he ran on.

Just took the same price, Mike.

By Cracksman out of a mare by a Prix Du Jockey Club winner back when it was still 1m4f so every chance of getting the trip.

Is Equinox injured or something? Just seen he’s not available any more with most firms for this

There was always a doubt over whether that would ever be the plan, Ben.

I’m guessing they’ve gone lukewarm on the idea.

Anyway, Westover didn’t exactly boost the form at Epsom, did he?

I like this Ace Impact, even if he is a French colt with an English name (that’s just “wrong”).

I can’t let a Mike and ID gamble develop without jumping on the bandwagon.

I think we can give up on Equinox, alas.

He broke the clock just now, CAS – you could argue Big Rock went off too fast, but he saw off all the others.

Might there be a slight worry about him on soft ground?
