June 5, 2024 at 00:15 #1697006If she handles drop back to 2100 Aventure will go very close i reckon , absolutely bolted up last weekend , in fact as they say in OZ ” brained em ”
June 5, 2024 at 12:39 #1697037I thought the change of gear Tamfana showed suggested a strongly run 1m would be her optimum trip, however I’m informed that they believe 1m is on the sharp side and that she will be suited by the step up.
June 10, 2024 at 15:17 #1697541We’re down to 19 thirteen of which are French. Names up on Paris Turf – Actus with current “raider” possibilities at bottom.
June 10, 2024 at 18:34 #1697547ROCK N SWING 33/1 Paddy power
Was a unbeaten horse but was 7th in a messy 1000 guineas last time where she was last for most of it. But ran on to be 7th
Will appreciate extra 2F and could suprise at big odds
June 15, 2024 at 18:45 #1698027Trainer not being coy about TAMFANA, talking her up as really special. I’ll have the 10/3 now on offer. Decent draw, optimal conditions and the form of the UK 1000 looking very strong. Good price considering.
June 15, 2024 at 23:07 #1698038I went for Gala Real at 8s. She beat a horse called Aventure last time out by a neck. Aventure went on to win a G3 at Longchamp by seven lengths on her next start.
June 16, 2024 at 00:01 #1698041I’ve backed…
Dance Sequence at 11/2 WIN and 9/2 WIN for this.
I think she will prefer the track and hopefully we won’t see her rolling about at the finish as if she has been on the bubbly.
Last Tuesday I was at Dalham Hall and the young lady who was our guide actually helped deliver her. She thinks the world of this filly and feels a straight galloping track or long straight run in is the answer to iron out that quirkiness..hope Dance Sequence can bring it home tomorrow and win in good styleThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...June 16, 2024 at 07:29 #1698045Tamfana 3-1
June 16, 2024 at 12:11 #1698065With Murphy, Hayes and Buick gracing the stage this one may not produce your typical French Sprint finish and the main principals would all relish a truly run race I imagine.
It would be some training feat for Dance Sequence to follow up that Oaks effort here just a fortnight later! Sparkling Plenty will have to be sparkling plenty to get home here. Are Aventure and Gala Real quite up to winning? Candala may just have a little more in reserve than Tamfana. Rock’n Swing possibly the dark horse.
1 Candala
2 Tamfana
3 Rock’n SwingJune 16, 2024 at 12:41 #1698066Respect your opinion zilzal on Dance Sequence turning out so quickly after the Oaks, but certain they wouldn’t have sent her here unless they are hopeful that she is going to run a big race and she is very highly thought of by all. Cheekpieces also now fitted so hope they will help.
I really think this is her last chance to prove to all that she can follow through with that run without wavering, she has been given every opportunity and I think surprised a lot of people with her brave run in The Oaks last time. If she had kept her momentum going throughout she would have been much closer IMO.
Cannot take anything away from the favourite and best of luck with your selection Candala although she has yet to run at Group 1 level and over the extra distance.
Dance Sequence won her first two races on both the July Course and Rowley Mile and early days no real sign of ‘the wobble’ just a case of just doing enough to hold off challengers and win her race. I think today she has to step up and show that she is a top class filly going forward and much more will be known after this race. I think it’s an interesting and exciting race that will pinpoint a really nice future champion. Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...June 16, 2024 at 12:45 #1698067Might have a small bet on Halfday.
The things I want most in life are the things that I can't win.
June 16, 2024 at 12:49 #1698069There’s the draw to consider as well. Tamfana in stall 4 which should be fine, however Candala has to win from a wide draw. Same for Rock’n Swing.
June 16, 2024 at 14:47 #1698079Tamfana to place is ranging from 1.85-2.04 which im happy enough to be playing at, relative to her chances of winning i think its a great bet
As always with french racing theres going to be some hard luck stories, buick likely set off prominent, oisin just behind the pace, i like candala but stall 12 and a a jockey i really like in ireland on board, but not sure id have as much faith in his track positioning here, i can see her having a nightmare in this, so ill be place laying her to 3, with a better draw id probably be backing her, aventure was impressive lto and imo should probably be clear fav
June 16, 2024 at 15:01 #1698080hoping she gets home, races as though she will Sparkling Plenty each way 12s
