Having a decent bet on Bedtime story @9/2

Stamina isnt guaranteed, but she does look like she will benefit from stepping up, ran a cracker lto considering the typical improvement from ballydoyle in there 2nd run, pacemaker in here, wide draw is an issue and traffic problems look imminent, however, the french 1000 i believe to be rotten form, i dont think ANYTHING in it would come anywhere near the english/irish 1000, i dont think this will take much winning

Mandabana and shes perfct the obvious two, particularly the latter as she has a nice attitude

112 will win this comfortably and the only one i think that can run that is BS

ill have a small e/w on the ballydoyle pacemaker also as i wouldnt be surprised if she didnt come back to them this is that poor of a race

She’s got plenty of speed and will get the trip, just hope no more rain. :good: Jac

I took 4/1 Bedtime Story first thing this morning hoping that she improves for the step up in distance. I expect her to try and come with a late run so the high draw may be no bad thing.

If you go to back a certainty always buy a return ticket.

Big moment for connections of She’s Perfect. Turned down 2.5 million earlier this week and that could feel like a kick in the teeth come 310 today.
I’ve backed her, so hoping for the best but deep down I can just feel an underwhelming performance incoming.

If you were confused about the going report published in Paris Turf you’d be doubly confused by the update based on same in the Racing Post. Keeping my powder dry but my preference would be
Mandaba and Bedtime Story against the field or maybe just place-laying the favourite. Shoemark will hardly be too hard on her if a place begins to look like a faint possibility. Bedtime Story slowly away and then baulked early on on return last time before making steady progress is obviously the most interesting.

Was slightly worried about the draw! And it transpired that way, best horse was most definitely 2nd

However, its a poor race, poor form, id be avoiding pretty much all of these going forward bar BS who will pickup a group 1 this season

Owners have just received a revised offer of 50 quid and a can of apple tango.

Not hindsight as I said in the Coronation Stakes thread that there was little between Zarigana and Shes Perfect
and to go for the mile race and I had 12’s

Chivers, I bumped the offer up to £50, a can of tango and a packet of hobnobs

    Chocolate or no deal Nath.

I only listened to the race, sounded like the front two most of the way had faded so is this a poorly judged ride?
Wasn’t too keen as Fellowes form has been a bit off, although it isn’t that very often ‘on’. I usually ignore when it comes to group 1’s anyway.
