Comfortably won the bumper at Kempton today; most unusual to see a horse racing in the Oppenheimer colours under NH rules – especially when it’s by Golden Horn and out of a group-placed Frankel mare.
PS: Those with long memories might remember the high-class miler of the same name, trained by Barry Hills, many moons ago.
Prince Rupert the OZ version by coincidence fresh up fron 4 month spell at Port Macquarie today .
Had a look on you tube the 1988 QE2 that Prince Rupert ran last in , id forgot how good Warning was , just put the race to bed in blink of an eye .
I used to , and still do from time look through bumper fields to find odd high priced yearling that failed to make it for big yards or well related flat horse that didnt make the cut .
Be interesting to see how this bumper winner goes on with it .
