“Well done ian”
Cheers, ham, Classic Causeway ran a blinder for you at gigantic odds on a lot of levels, showed up really well, I thought, right up until the closing stages.
And thanks, RTB.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"June 21, 2023 at 16:33 #1652608The horse I backed to win the race last year beats the horse I backed this year
Toys out the pram from me as they turned in
Could see Ryan wasn’t happy and mostahdaf was cruising
June 21, 2023 at 16:38 #1652610Good spot Ian.
Always thought the winner has a good turn of foot but temperament’s been holding him back.
Sometimes even appears a squiggle horse.
Travelling well through a race but hasn’t found much in the bigger races in particular.
Hopefully he’s turned the corner and will find for pressure again.
Value Is EverythingJune 21, 2023 at 16:40 #1652611That’s one straight out of your “value is everything” book, GT.
I didn’t consider him the most likely winner and I certainly didn’t expect him to win in such style.
But there wasn’t much between five of them for me at their best and 22/1 was just too big.
I hereby dedicate this winner to G “Value Is Everything” T!

You know it makes sense.Value Is EverythingJune 21, 2023 at 16:42 #1652613After the start they didn’t seem to go to fast and the winner just seemed to be the quickest but wasn’t expecting that kind of performance – obviously had his mind on other things in the paddock and behind the stalls but maybe he was just on good terms with himself

Gosden says he is unlikely to go to the Eclipse as it comes a little too soon and confirms he is a 10F fast ground horse and will not go over 12F again…next stop will be the Juddmonte. Maybe a BC Mile could be on the agenda too.
June 21, 2023 at 16:50 #1652615Good work, ID.
Luxembourg was strange. He looked heavy legged and as if he was going to drop away once he was passed but he still beat everything else.
June 21, 2023 at 16:55 #1652618Thanks, CAS.
I had considered Luxembourg the likeliest winner and, having backed him ante-post at 5.7, would have won a similar amount on him.
I just started rating the race and actually there’s a case for saying he and Adayar just about ran to their marks and it’s just a monster effort from the winner – time will tell.
I couldn’t understand the support for Bay Bridge, who is a right good horse but has to have far more cut in the ground than there was here.
And spare a thought for FF91 – how many more tasty ante-post bets is he going to see finish runner up this week?

See if I can get the full set of value losers
June 21, 2023 at 17:15 #1652627This is devastating news as I’m on two of those ante-post!
