Nightime won the Irish 1,000 on her next run after winning her maiden.
If you go to back a certainty always buy a return ticket.
February 11, 2008 at 19:08 #142349I don’t think that Leopardstown’s hurdle track can be regarded as galloping no, in fact I think it is quite at tight track.
Best

February 11, 2008 at 19:20 #142353i defer to the grey haired one’s wisdom – but genuinely fail to see the similarities…at all
February 11, 2008 at 19:30 #142357I always thought it was just the turn into the straight of the hurdles and flat track which caused crowding at Leopardstown

Good God, you mean Leopardstown has Tote buildings that date back to before the Easter rising, a car park that takes two hours to clear, stands that look as if they were designed by David Blunkett and a management you wouldn’t trust to run a charity shop
It looks so good on TV!

…maybe Ruby’s had one fall too many.If you havent been AP, Champion Stakes Day in September is wonderful. 3 group races, 2 good handicaps and a couple of usually decent maidens. Nice knowledgeable crowd (and me) and never too busy or overcrowded. They’ll probably let you in for free when you tell them you own the Champion Hurdler.
