Christophermarlowe 16/1 Steve. You should be able to get something on with it being ante post particularly with Ladbrokes

After watching the Lingfield Derby trial, one could only conclude that Christopher Biggins has more chance of winning the Derby. I’m not even lukewarm about him now.

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
May 10, 2015 at 20:12 #966497Not sure about pricewise being past his sell-by but that freaking kicking donkey of yours is quickly losing its appeal SC!!!

May 11, 2015 at 18:23 #972591I would of said it needed gelding.

May 17, 2015 at 00:26 #1006404Mr Yeats doesn’t seem a very cheery chappie. =D
And yes, I did know that about the GN – doesn’t stop me being impressed to see someone in the media realise it, though.
But then I always was more pint half full than your average Internet forum critic. =D

Maybe I could pick up some tips from you on how to be cheery based on your posts on the Forum meet up thread

Fraid I don’t call writing a column about what anyone with half a brain cell already knows “insightful”
Now an investigation into bookmakers not laying prices or the whole matter of corruption involved in the “live” transmission of racing pictures that would be insightful.
But I suppose that’s not likely if you’re on the payroll of bookmakers.
May 18, 2015 at 10:31 #1020789Err….I’m not currently on anyone’s payroll but my own?
Always happy to agree to differ. =D
Re bookmakers not laying prices – twas ever thus.
If you consistently win or have a pattern of activity that suggests you will, that is not good busienss for them.
I get bets declined too – the difference is i don’t complain about it. It’s life.
Re live pictures – back in the day there were naive punters betting in-running based on internet radio (an audio commentary some 40 second behind real time!)
You just can’t help some people – anyone betting in-running needs to be aware punters at the track have an edge over them.
And steer clear of it. =D
