I am looking at ways of making Press Gang more profitable..but until I launch my ideas on the unsuspecting public, I am going to explore another angle in Press Gang Two:
1. Daily Mirror
2. Selections picked by both Newsboy and Bouverie
3. Must be forecast favourite in DM and at least two points clear of 2nd favourite.
Friday 24 September 04:
MISTER FLINT 2.10 Worcester
MUSICANNA 3.25 Haydock
level stakes
September 24, 2004 at 17:12 #55495Good luck Steve. You would certainly expect that your strike rate would be better with PG2, but just a reminder that this is only half of the story & that the other half is prices.
You may get more winners but if prices are significantly worse, then profit may not automatically be improved.
Will watch with interest – good luck again.
September 24, 2004 at 19:28 #55496Thanks once again Snowman for your interest and valued comments. Soon I hope to look at the longer prices with Press Gang.
PG2 opened well with 2 out of 2 winners: 4/5 and 5/2
Outlay at £10 a point: 20 Returns 53 (3.3 pts profit)
September 25, 2004 at 12:46 #55497Sat 25 Sept 04
PERFECT PERFORMANCE 1.55 Ascot
BRONCO CHARLIE 4.50 M Rasen
September 25, 2004 at 19:32 #55498Perfect Performance won at 4/6, Broncho Charlie not unlike other Jonjo odds on shots failed badly.
3/4 so far – to £10 l.s -40 +70 (3 points profit)
Sunday 26th Sept 04:
ELUSIVE DREAM 4.20 Ascot
GOLDEN RAMBLER 2.45 Huntingdon (another Jonjo odds on, but as this is a system, we must include it – at least it’s ridden by Tony McCoy)
September 27, 2004 at 18:32 #55499Sunday 26 Sept 04 – both selections lost
Monday 27 Sept 04
KISWAHILI 2.20 Hamilton W2/5
EVA SONEVA SO FAST 3.00 Windsor W 5/4
JUST FLY 3.30 Windsor L
5/9 winners so far
Outlay 90 Returns 106.5 (1.65 points profit)
September 28, 2004 at 12:15 #55500Tuesday 28 Sept 04
BIG WHEEL 3.00 Sedgefield
CODE SIGN 3.50 Exeter
In my view these are strong selections – in particular Code Sign is ridden by Richard Johnson who does well on our Press Gang horses. Tony Dobbin rides Big Wheel also tipped by Northern Corredspondent.
