    I thought I saw this horse’s name on here the other day but must have imagined it. Anyway, sadly he’s in the RP today having died after injuring a tendon at Kempton. Only 8 years old and apparently nicknamed Elvis because ‘he thought he was the king’. He’ll be a big miss for the stable.

    I saw a tweet offering condolences following Present View’s run at Kempton earlier in the week, so thought he’d been put to sleep having severed a tendon. So I was surprised to then see a photo of him in a stable, saying he’d been taken home but was unlikely to ever race again. Presumably a second opinion confirmed that the kindest thing to do was to put him to sleep after all. RIP :cry:

    This is such sad news I really was hoping against hope that they would be able to save him and they must be devastated to lose such a star.
