Very nice BOG action there GaG! Big gamble on Draycott Place helped your cause.
I think that chase will be a strong piece of form. Ballyoisin himself obviously full of promise and Doctor Phoenix ran a stormer despite being dead in the market – good race in him soon imo.
October 15, 2017 at 22:50 #1321860He really did win that nicely Grass, very happy with that. Well done getting back in black.
October 18, 2017 at 14:24 #1322122Based on his last run against Rashaan albeit over 3m:
1435 Punchestown Wakea 16-1 1pt EW 2nd 1/5 odds
+3.20 overall
October 19, 2017 at 13:26 #1322263As LS mentioned on his thread, Sue Smith’s horses have needed the run lately and being quite a big horse, I Just Know might not be as sharp on reappearance as a little wiry sort…but I really like the way he gallops and jumps and a right handed track should suit. Can’t resist.
1515 Carlisle I Just Know 9-2 1 pt win
October 19, 2017 at 15:47 #1322286Well LS was right to oppose him I guess.
1650 Carlisle Elusive Theatre 12-1</strong 0.5 pt EW
October 19, 2017 at 17:09 #1322293No joy today but lots of replays to watch later, looking forward to seeing Samcro making mincemeat of his field.

October 19, 2017 at 18:12 #1322307I Just Know definitely one to follow Grassy, you’ll get your money back when he pings round Haydock and Wetherby in the next few months.
October 27, 2017 at 13:03 #1323653Two for the 3mile handicap chase tomorrow:
2.00 Cheltenham
Robinsfirth 10-1 1pt win
Minellacelebration 25s 0.5pt EWOctober 27, 2017 at 14:55 #1323659Nicky Henderson’s horse for the 3m novice chase today has drifted. I think he’s better than his odds and was an unlucky faller LTO.
Cheltenham 1545 Beat That 6-1 1pt win
October 27, 2017 at 16:02 #1323663Oops. Pretty novicey all the way round. Confidence booster next time I would have thought. Not going to write him off yet. Decent race that, Sizing Tennessee unlucky, didn’t look overly tired. Well done Bryony Frost, she had Black Corton jumping very nicely…reckon she’ll keep the ride after doing so well on him.
+.20
October 29, 2017 at 13:21 #1324021Down 2 pts on Robinsfirth and Minellacelebration so sitting on -1.8
I don’t usually bet short odds but Calino D’Airy impressed me LTO
Galway 1340 Calino d’Airy 5pts 6-5 win
October 29, 2017 at 14:36 #1324038Nice 5 pointer there Grass
October 29, 2017 at 20:11 #1324085Thanks VtC, he’s opened my mind to backing short priced favourites!
With the long priced losers today- a total of 3 pts on my Old Roan bets and the well bred debut hurdler Take the Floor who finished halfway down the field-
he gets me back in black.
+1.2November 3, 2017 at 00:28 #1324660Lots of good racing this weekend but mostly no idea what to back. I’m interested in the half brothers Braqeur d’Or and Ultragold for Sodexo Gold Cup at Ascot- think they should like the ground. The latter is the best price and I think should get trip as Tizzard originally intended him for 3mile chases.

3.35 Ascot Ultragold 20-1 1pt EWNovember 3, 2017 at 01:47 #1324664The good news is Grass, is that this is the perfect opportunity to remind everyone that you bagged Ultragold at 80’s for The Topham.
The bad news is, is that having just looked over this race, I’m following you in.
Here’s hoping I don’t jink you.
November 3, 2017 at 17:12 #1324751Thanks for the wee reminder
He’s out to 33s with Paddys now.
When I back drifters it doesn’t usually end well but sod it, I’m going in again.3.35 Ascot Ultragold 33-1 2pts EW
November 5, 2017 at 01:51 #1325250Wee bit underwhelmed by him today, but a very very nice winner that.
