Just putting ot out there. I feel a bit for Dettori as yes he has had some poor rides this season and now paid the price. Had these mistakes happened in lesser races would the same outcome have happened.
My example is Ryan Moore toninght on The Antatrctic in the 5-10. Dropped out of the stalls and lost at least 2 lengths.
Cost the horse the race no doubt. It was on Racing TV mod week not a big audience. Nothing said. Why?
Probably because numerous people were writing off Ryan Moore, and saying his best days were behind him, by the end of last year, but he has bounced back and had a tremendous season overall so far this year.

The Antarctic had only raced three times prior to today, the horse has according to Racing Post Results:
“Upset in stalls, ducked left” on debut.
“Swerved left start” last time out.
Anyone backing The Antarctic today should have known the horse has a history of problems at the start.
Doubt it was anything to do with the jockey.
