    It was sad to read that he died of a heart attack yesterday just aged 11. He had had his best season in 2017 with 29 juvenile winners, his son Poets Word was second behind Cracksman in the Champion.

    All comers, all ground, all beaten

    Sad to see him here so soon Chaos I remember watching him from his 2yo days up until he went to stud and although he never quite made it in Group Company he did win the Queen Elizabeth 11 Stakes at Royal Ascot by a nose from another great stallion Rip Van Winkle.
    Let’s hope the final batch of his progeny go on to shine and carry on his legacy.
