I like the look of Molatham here. Limato won’t get GF ground most likely, probably Good at best which makes him a slightly vulnerable fav for me, also being 8 is not ideal for a fav. In fact I think you’d have to be in love with the horse to back him at 5/2. Plenty are though.
One Master is a solid horse, but has a limit to form. Wichita has the best form, but has run badly the last twice. Lancaster House is likely to stay in Ireland for the mile race there this weekend, Zakouski, could be anything I guess, but not seen out since February in Dubai and Breathtaking Look doesn’t have great form over 7F.
The others are all much of a muchness, which must give a Jersey Winner a decent chance here for the in form silks this season. Maybe can forgive his run last time out, his first try in France, maybe he just didn’t like the travel.
He goes on anything and is a course and distance winner. 8/1 looks quite overpriced actually.
Molatham 8/1
September 9, 2020 at 14:35 #1500477Just saw Limato won a group 2 at Doncaster 2015 good/good to soft in places. His only every run at Doncaster over 7f as a 3 year old. still undecided what I would back if I have a bet.
September 9, 2020 at 15:19 #1500484Yeah I think he should go no problem on the ground, it won’t be soft, so I expect him to line up, but he will probably need to run something like his last run to win and that was on GF. In fact his last 2 big runs were on GF, so he might not quite be able to hit those levels on Good.
Then factor in his age and then factor in that he actually hasn’t run a decent race outside of Newmarket for 2 years now.
It all makes him a vulnerable fav for me.
September 9, 2020 at 15:33 #1500486Frenchy I agree with you and if the race was at Newmarket even on good ground I would back him straight away. I wonder if he will turn up at Newmarket at the end of the month if the going is right.
September 9, 2020 at 17:54 #1500509LIMATO 7/2 for me it is
September 9, 2020 at 17:59 #1500510I took 8-1 Molatham too, I think he has a great chance.
September 10, 2020 at 11:38 #1500587I can only agree with Molatham here, I think that he’ll go very close.
September 12, 2020 at 09:00 #1500951With the PP offer ive plumped for One Master.
September 12, 2020 at 09:59 #1500955Molatham was super weak last couple of days but money really coming now
September 12, 2020 at 10:35 #1500968Molatham here. I missed the bigger price, but he’s a big fancy.
September 12, 2020 at 10:39 #1500970Keeping the faith with one master
The race wasn’t run to suit last time at all
Hopefully be more pace on today for her to aim at
September 12, 2020 at 15:21 #1501056Swap the jockeys swap the result there
How has one master not won that
September 12, 2020 at 15:26 #1501059To the naked eye it looked like One Master took the lead with about 30 yards left, and Wichita somehow got back up.
BUY THE SUN
September 12, 2020 at 15:29 #1501061Marquand has ridden 15 seconds and 5 winners in the last 2 weeks
Its probably pocket talking but how strong in the finish is he
September 12, 2020 at 18:29 #1501147Tbh watching it again i think the best horse has won
It looked as though frankie thought he had the race won and didn’t see marquand coming
When one master gets upsides you can see frankie start to ride wichita more vigorously which is why he got back up
