a work collague went into one of their shops to do a accum on the Euro’s
he had 8 teams now not all were in the 1st round of games a mixture of the 1st & 2nd rounds they wouldnt take bet they said the best they could do was a 4 match accum and not the same team twice???, as far as i can think this is not right is it? i remember doing something similar with champions league games last season………
Having seen a similar situation in Hills, this is being chalked up to the related contingincies rule, hence the involvement of the same team twice is prohibited. I could definitely see the bookmakers’ point if the final round of fixtures were involved, but instances of games not being played out on merit with full strength line-ups are rare and almost always diluted enough in the penultimate fixture to make very little difference.

I stuck my bet with Ladbrokes I think in the end, and the guy behind the counter helped me fill out the form. I got him to confirm it was an accumulator and that was that. So I bloody well hope they pay me my 5.5k if it wins!!!
Although looking at my selections once again I think the Russian game to beat Greece is going to be the weak link now.
