Having just watched the 6.40 at Newton Abbot without any financial investment I thought that I should just praise the ride on Kilbree Kid.
Kicked on and tried to steal a march on his rivals some distance out. Pinged every hurdle perfectly, he still looked the least likely of 4 to win entering the straight. Went for everything at the last and got it, the momentum gained carried him home due to the short run to the line. Absolutely brilliant.
To think Twiston Davies allowed him to leave – unbelievable , as he is twice the jockey that his boy is.

I like Brennan as a jockey but Sam Twiston-Davies is top notch IMO, strong and horses run for him. I think you’re wide of teh mark to describe Brennan as ‘twice the jockey’ – I wouldn’t have much between them, barring experience.
