Not having a bookies near my home (there are some near my work but don’t get a chance to get to them) which is the best online site to place a bet?
January 18, 2010 at 18:57 #270683In terms of functionality I would suggest they are all pretty good – once you get used to them.
Personally, I preferred William Hill and BaldyFreds. With both of these you can actually draw you winnings in cash from the shops (if you’ve got one close to you at work). Both do Best Odds Guarantees and Baldy’s Bonuses if you’re into Yankees and Lucky 15 are probably the best on the net, as far as I know.
Of course there is also the Exchanges
January 18, 2010 at 19:08 #270687Bet365 are my current favourite’s, plenty of offers on all the time, live streaming of racing and other sports, take any early price on horses and dogs and get paid out at SP if it’s greater, customer service is excellent too.
January 18, 2010 at 20:22 #270708What type of betting do you do? This will help those on here help you a bit more….
January 19, 2010 at 15:40 #270855I bet mainly on football & the horses. I’m not a heavy gambler & mainly put on £5 & £10 bets , sometimes even just a couple of £
January 19, 2010 at 16:53 #270872If you’re a fiver and tenner punter, then your best bet is porbably Vic Chandler, Bet 356 or Coral.
Reasons :- bet365 do alright prices for the football, and have early prices. They also have a free race replay archive.(best odds on horses also)
Vic Chandler – best odds guaranteed on the horses, and runs small competitions where you get a free fiver bet for beating Vivs football predictions, or Vic Chandlers horse predictions. I’ve got a fair few fivers of him, so if you’re a fiver punter you’d be alright there.
Coral – best odds guaranteed on horses, and the only British bookies not to run off to Gibraltar or what have you to avoid UK tax rates.
